Who operates the website

Information processed and why

When you browse www.mokurei.com, the hosting and security systems operated through Cloudflare may process technical connection information needed to deliver the website, detect abuse and protect the service. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page visits, referral information and page-loading performance, in order to assess and improve the website. According to Cloudflare, the Web Analytics beacon does not use analytics cookies, localStorage or fingerprinting to follow individual visitors. Cloudflare receives the source IP for HTTP handling and states that the beacon IP is discarded at its nearest data centre rather than stored in the core Web Analytics database.

If you send an enquiry through the form, we process your email address, subject and message to respond to your request, discuss an available work or a possible commission, and — when appropriate — arrange a sale. An automatic acknowledgement is sent to the email address provided. The form does not collect payment card details. Please do not send sensitive personal information through the form.

Service providers and anti-abuse controls

Our website runs through Cloudflare (hosting, website security and Web Analytics). The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish genuine submissions from automated abuse. During verification, technical information including your IP address and a security token may be transmitted to Cloudflare. The message and acknowledgement emails are sent using Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.). Received messages are managed in a Google Gmail mailbox. Depending on page and browser configuration, fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; those requests may send technical connection information to Google. Links to third-party services such as Instagram lead to those services' own policies when opened.

International processing and storage

Some providers may process data outside Switzerland, notably in the United States. Resend states that email data is stored in the United States and describes contractual safeguards for international transfers in its data processing agreement. Contact messages also reach the studio's email mailbox; retention there is determined by the studio's correspondence and recordkeeping practices.

How long data is kept

Contact messages are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond and manage any related follow-up, then deleted when no longer necessary. Correspondence concerning an agreed order may be retained longer when required to fulfil an order, address a dispute or comply with applicable legal obligations. Copies in the studio mailbox and records held by email delivery providers may have different retention periods. You may request deletion where applicable using the contact address above.

Your choices and rights

You may contact us at mokurei.studio@gmail.com to request information about data concerning you, ask for corrections or deletion where applicable, or object to processing where the law provides that right. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on the circumstances and governing law. You can also use browser controls to limit third-party requests, although blocking essential security features may affect form submission.
